From 20 to 23 January  2010 the second General Assembly of the network EUSTORY took place in Ronda, Spain, generously hosted by the "Real Maestranza de Caballeria de Ronda". Representatives of the 21 EUSTORY member organizations discussed possible approaches in order to evaluate organizational structures of EUSTORY as well as the future pedagogical orientation of the network. After almost two years experiences within the new structure it was about time that the “Eustorians” evaluated the association, the aims and the operational structures. It was an intense discussion that led to a modification of priorities, responsibilities and strategies.

On Thursday evening the Real Maestranza took advantage of the broad European presence in Ronda and launched the third round of the Spanish History Competition to the topic: “Local heroes”. (www.eustory.es) in a public event . The competition is aimed at young people up to 21 years of age enrolled in their last three years of secondary school or adult education throughout Spain.

For Sweden it has been the second competition round and therefore Sweden’s application for full membership was accepted by all members present at the GA. Now the EUSTORY association consists of 22 full members.
